Chuck McGlade, MD

Dr. McGlade grew up in New York State and received his premedical degree from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical degree at Cornell Medical College in New York, New York, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed both his residency and a sub-specialty fellowship in angiography at the University of California, Los Angeles where he served as chief resident.  After relocating to Eugene/Springfield, he worked for more than 25 years performing vascular interventions and minimally invasive surgery procedures.  Dr. McGlade joined Centennial Shaw Heart and Vascular Specialists in 2018 where he has introduced advanced techniques and technology to Mercy Medical Center to be able to treat Douglas County residents locally.

Dana Safavian, MD, MSC

Dr. Dana Safavian obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Waterloo and his Master of Science from the University of Toronto. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Virginia, School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY, and his Interventional Radiology training at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.

Dr. Safavian joins Centennial Shaw Heart and Vascular Physicians in 2024, providing minimally invasive vascular and interventional radiology services.

Dr. Safavian’s focus is on peripheral arterial, venous and lymphatic diseases as well as urologic, cancer and pain management procedures.
