Cardiology Physicians

Lawrence E. Vallario, M.D., FACC

Dr. Lawrence E Vallario graduated from The University of Florida undergraduate program with High Honors in 1977. He completed medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1981. He then completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine in 1984 at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Vallario remained there, at MUSC, to complete his fellowship training in Cardiovascular Diseases in 1987. He joined Centennial Shaw Heart And Vascular Physicians in 2024.

Dr. Vallario is a noninvasive cardiologist who comes to us with a long practice career in Cardiology from Central Florida-with offices in Lake Mary and Deltona. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine as well as Nuclear Cardiology. His areas of focus are clinical office based noninvasive cardiovascular care.

Gary Bronstein, MD, FACC

Dr. Gary Bronstein graduated from Stony Brook School of Medicine (Long Island) in 1996.  After completing his residency training in Internal Medicine in 1999 at University of Michigan Medical Center he received a faculty appointment at Columbia University Medical Center (NY City) where he worked as an attending physician until 2002 when he decided to focus on Cardiology and subsequently completed his cardiovascular training at NY Medical College. He joined Shaw Heart Cardiovascular Center in 2007.

His clinical interests include consultative cardiology and non-invasive cardiac imaging, including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and most recently Cardiac CT Angiography (which allows non-invasive diagnosis of coronary blockages).  His hobbies include mountain hiking and scuba diving.

Ahmad Damati, MD

Dr. Ahmad Damati graduated from Hashemite University (Jordan) in 2013. After completing his residency training in Internal Medicine in 2020 at the New York Medical College (Newark, NJ), he completed his Fellow in Cardiology in 2023 at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. He joined Centennial Shaw Heart and Vascular Physicians in 2023.

Dr. Damati is a Cardiologist and is certified in BLS/ALS. He has many research publications and special interest in treating heart failure patients.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, fitness, and reading.

Roger Dreiling, MD

Dr. Roger Dreiling graduated from University of Kansas in 1978. After completing his residency training in Internal Medicine in 1981 at the University of Kansas, he served as Medical Chief Resident and completed his Fellow in Cardiology in 1984. He joined Centennial Shaw Heart and Vascular Physicians in 2023.

Dr. Dreiling is an Interventional Cardiologist who comes to us from Providence Heart Institute in Medford, Oregon, and has had a long standing Interventional Cardiology career in Lawrence, Kansas and Corvallis, Oregon. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology. His areas of focus are coronary artery disease, heart failure, and treatment of acute myocardial infarction.

Ciril Khorolsky, MD

Dr. Ciril Khorolsky has joined the cardiology team at Shaw Heart and Vascular Center at CHI Mercy Health. He earned his Medical Degree at Tel Aviv University School of Medicine (Israel). Following medical school, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at NYU Langone Brooklyn Hospital of NYU Langone Health where he served as chief resident. Following residency, he completed both his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship and a subspecialty fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Albany Medical Center in New York.

His clinical interests include coronary artery disease, percutaneous coronary interventions, valvular heart disease and cardiovascular disease prevention. He has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed articles, presented at national conferences, and received awards for clinical and academic excellence.

When he is not practicing cardiology, Dr. Khorolsky enjoys exploring the outdoors, fitness and spending time with his wife and two children.

Cardiology Physicians

Erin Cassidy, NP

Erin is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has specialized in cardiovascular medicine for the greater part of her medical career. She graduated from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 2005. Erin worked in emergency, hospital, and family medicine following graduation while preparing to work in cardiovascular medicine. She began working in cardiovascular medicine in Colorado in 2007. She moved to Roseburg in 2011.

She enjoys spending time with each patient. Erin’s passion is education and having a positive impact on the individuals she cares for as well as their families.  Erin believes a team approach is the best way to provide excellent comprehensive care.
