What is Angioplasty?

Angioplasty uses tiny balloon-tipped
catheters and mesh stents to open blocked blood vessels. It is the most effective procedure available for treating sudden heart attack and also is an important tool in the treatment of chronic heart disease.

Having angioplasty available locally, under the direction of Dr. Howard Feldman, a cardiologist with extensive experience in its use, means Douglas County residents no longer have to travel out of town to benefit from this important procedure.
